Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes throughout the Casselberry, FL area. This role includes initial evaluations , Plan of Care development , and ongoing treatment visits , with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case and service provided . This position is ideal for therapists who are confident working independently, experienced in home health, and skilled in completing thorough clinical documentation that supports patient safety, independence, and functional outcomes. Flexible Compensation Structure Compensation may be per visit or hourly , depending on the case Evaluation visits and routine treatment visits are compensated differently based on scope and responsibility Flexible Scheduling Per diem assignments Visit schedules coordinated based on therapist availability and patient needs Key Responsibilities Perform initial occupational therapy evaluations Develop and update individualized Plans of Care Provide skilled OT treatment visits as ordered Address activities of daily living (ADLs), safety, and functional independence Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to improve daily function Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation Documentation Expectations OT documentation is a critical component of patient care and is used to: Establish and update the Plan of Care Support medical necessity for skilled therapy services Track patient progress and functional outcomes Meet payer and regulatory documentation requirements Strong attention to detail and timely completion of notes is required.
