Requirements
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy
- Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative care team
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy focused on improving self-care, fine motor skills, mobility, and independence
- Track progress, update therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other rehab specialists
- Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safe practices
- Ensure occupational therapy services comply with Ohio state regulations and Kingstons standards of care
