Requirements

  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a collaborative care team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents functional abilities and create individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy focused on improving self-care, fine motor skills, mobility, and independence
  • Track progress, update therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other rehab specialists
  • Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safe practices
  • Ensure occupational therapy services comply with Ohio state regulations and Kingstons standards of care
