About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in Ashburn, VA. This role will support multiple school locations (West region) and requires flexibility to float between sites as needed. The selected candidate will play a key role in helping students develop the skills necessary for academic achievement and daily functional success.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Virginia OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility to support multiple school sites

Nice To Haves

• NBCOT certification preferred
• Prior school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
• Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school skills
• Travel between assigned school locations as needed
