About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week assignment in Waco, TX. This role offers a consistent day shift schedule with a 32-hour weekly guarantee. The ideal candidate will be committed to helping patients improve their independence and quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Previous clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and daily living skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
