About The Position

Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Sunny Ridge Care Center in Nampa. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team! We are looking for an OT who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong functional outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization. What You'll Do • Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans • Address ADLs, functional mobility, upper extremity strength, cognition, safety awareness, and adaptive equipment needs • Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation • Collaborate with COTAs and supervise as appropriate • Provide patient and family education related to safety, independence, and home transitions • Work closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team • Support coverage needs for fluctuating census and vacation coverage If you'd like additional support with any competencies, we are happy to provide training and mentorship. Requirements

  • Current Idaho Occupational Therapist license in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR required)
  • Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said - if you are a caring, passionate, licensed OT who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
