About The Position

Adventist HealthCare Inpatient Rehabilitation seeks to hire an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As an Occupational Therapist (OT) you will communicate with team members, customers, managers, etc. to coordinate plan of care and provide optimal patient experience. You will administer occupational therapy interventions and treatments according to agency's accepted policies and procedures, apply and implement appropriate therapy knowledge and plans patient care with appropriate patient goals, and complete documentation requirements in a proficient and timely manner. You will also assume responsibility for personal and professional development, administer and supervise occupational therapy treatments to patients with a wide range of health problems under the direct orders of a physician/podiatrist, and coordinate care patients with other skilled care providers to plan, implement and access treatment programs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational therapy with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Active Maryland OT license required.
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • 2+ years experience preferred.
  • New grads considered with applicable fieldwork experience.
