About The Position
Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a skilled and compassionate clinic-based Occupational Therapist (OT) Department Lead to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Chicago, IL. Eyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive. As an Occupational Therapist (OT) Department Lead at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will provide occupational therapy to children and families while overseeing a team of Occupational Therapists. You'll foster each child's sensory processing and integration, motor coordination, fine motor development, and independence through: Providing individualized and group therapy Implementing client-centered therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Intentional Relationship Model (IRM), and reflex integration Collaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workers Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Occupational Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth
Responsibilities
- Providing individualized and group therapy
