About The Position

Provide occupational therapy services to inpatients in Marin General Hospital to remediate physical difficulties, including evaluation, treatment, family teaching and collaboration with other professionals, including planning for patient discharge.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Occupational Therapy curriculum approved by the Accreditation Council of Occupational Therapy Education.
• One year inpatient acute hospital experience as a certified Occupational Therapist.
• Occupational Therapist license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Integrative Agitation Management (IAM) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of all aspects of physical disabilities in Occupational Therapy.
• Understanding of the social, emotional, and physiological effects of illness and injury.
