About The Position

The position is for a Per Diem Occupational Therapist at Prime Healthcare Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, IL. The therapist will provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within their scope of practice to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. Responsibilities include performing duties in accordance with department and hospital policies, as well as state, federal, and regulatory requirements. The therapist will function as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team. An ideal candidate would have experience in critical care areas, such as ICU.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services within scope of practice.
