Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care job. A Brief Overview The Occupational Therapist I is an entry level therapist who performs routine patient care and is responsible for all clinical aspects of assigned patient care, including evaluation and treatment, with supervision as needed. The Occupational therapist I is proficient in providing basic clinical care, however is expected to seek guidance from and collaborate with senior occupational therapists when evaluating and developing treatment plans for complex cases with multiple diagnoses or who have multiple treatment options. Proficient evaluating all patients assigned and developing a treatment plan which is agreed upon by physician, patient and/or caregiver. Provides services to develop, enhance or restore functional capacity of assigned patients to promote the achievement of independence with daily activities and/or whose abilities to cope with tasks of daily living are threatened or impaired by physical illness or injury, psychosocial disabilities, aging process, or by developmental deficits. Develops, implements, and documents treatment plans and goals to meet the age-appropriate needs. May oversee and guide patient care responsibilities of Occupational Therapy interns, Occupational Therapy Assistants and duties of Rehabilitation Aide, may contribute to program development, performance improvement and other specialized programs.
