About The Position

The Occupational Therapist position at Baptist Health Lexington involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient therapy services. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a school of Occupational Therapy.
• Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Availability to work a minimum of 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) every 4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating patients for occupational therapy services.
• Developing individualized treatment plans and setting patient goals.
• Completing documentation and billing for therapy orders in a timely manner.
• Providing patient and family education, including tailored home exercise programs.
• Actively participating as a member of the patient care team to ensure positive interactions.
• Maintaining compliance with departmental and hospital continuing education requirements.
