About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active New York State Occupational Therapy License (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to develop effective care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
• Participate in clinical rounds, conferences, and designated clinics
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and progress
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies
• Participate in staff education and training programs as needed
