Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our expanding Home Care team in the city! Job Type: Per Diem Pay rate: $80-$90 per visit (can choose either W2 or 1099) Location: Upper East Side Schedule: Super flexible!
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
- NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible.
- Ability to travel to and from the homes of your patients throughout your given territory.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 treatment
- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
- Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
- Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
