About The Position

The Per Diem Occupational Therapist position for an outpatient clinic involves providing comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients' conditions and developing goal-oriented treatment programs aimed at restoring patients to a normal or optimum state of health and functioning. The role requires adherence to evidence-based evaluation and treatment strategies, as well as the documentation of treatment courses. The therapist is expected to deliver care that meets or exceeds service excellence standards and to communicate and coordinate patient care with other team members. Local travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
• Occupational Therapist License (Washington) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
• Working knowledge of relevant clinical practice in Occupational Therapy developed through clinical coursework, internships, or previous OT work experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality customer/patient service.
• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years experience in an outpatient setting.
• Hand therapy experience.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the evaluation and treatment of members within the employee's license.
• Follows all practice act and compliance regulations.
• Documents within the standards of Kaiser Permanente.
• Communicates with appropriate team members regarding the care of the member.

• Remains current in recent developments in occupational therapy techniques and procedures.
