About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled PART-TIME Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist) to join our outpatient orthopedic team! We are looking for a passionate clinician with experience in hand therapy to provide exceptional care to our patients. While a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is preferred, it is not required-candidates with solid hand therapy experience are encouraged to apply. Requirements

  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
  • Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
  • High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
  • Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
  • Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
