About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides treatment to patients to facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically, cognitively, or emotionally disabled persons for the purpose of restoring and enhancing functional independence. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served. The position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy, clinical experience preferred, and a current Occupational Therapy license in good standing with the State of Michigan. The role involves driving a vehicle for business purposes, maintaining valid auto insurance, and obtaining BLS Certification within 3 months of employment. The therapist will perform various clinical and administrative duties, including patient evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and supervision of support staff.
