Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services, Inc. (Sunny Days) is a staffing agency that specializes in the areas of Early Intervention and Autism services, serving children with developmental needs from birth to three years of age. Any applicants that would like to work and/or partner with us, aligned in this need for meaningful change, please upload your resume Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapy Evaluator, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive evaluations of children suspected of having developmental delays. You will play a crucial role in identifying individual needs and helping children reach their fullest potential.

Requirements

  • New York Occupational Therapy (OT) License
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools used for assessing developmental needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
  • Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent Written & Oral Communication Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Early Intervention Evaluator Experience (Preferred)
  • Home Based Service Delivery Experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessment tools such as the Peabody (PDMS-3) and Bayley-4.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of each evaluation.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure the best care for children.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations)
