Requirements

• BS in Occupational Therapy
• New graduate
• Current State of Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy
• BLS within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• MSOT
• 1 year practical experience direct patient care
• Prefer inpatient and skilled nursing settings
• NDT
• PNF

Responsibilities

• Obtaining patient's medical history
• Evaluation and provision of treatments in consultation with the referring physician
• Completing all appropriate documentation in the patient medical record
• Instructing patient and family/caregivers in appropriate patient care
• Assisting in training/mentoring new hires, students and support personnel
• Performing duties assigned by the Senior Occupational Therapist, Manager of Inpatient Rehabilitation Services and Manager of SNF/Long Term Rehabilitation
