About The Position
SSM Health Day Institute is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our specialized outpatient rehabilitation program. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, providing a structured work environment that promotes work-life balance. Our facility is located in Florissant, MO, and is part of a network of nine centers across the St. Louis Metro area. We cater to individuals recovering from traumatic injuries or illnesses who no longer require 24-hour nursing or acute rehabilitative care. Our approach is comprehensive and multi-disciplinary, focusing on building skills and maximizing independence for our patients. As an Occupational Therapist at SSM Health, you will implement high-quality therapy services with minimal supervision, ensuring that all practices align with the principles of physical therapy and outpatient policies. You will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans, supervising assistants and aides, and contributing to case management while providing exceptional patient care. Maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients is crucial, as is enhancing and expanding client relations with facility staff.
