As an Occupational Therapist/Certified Hand Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality hand therapy services. Your responsibilities will encompass the evaluation of patients, developing personalized plans of care, and executing effective treatment programs tailored to individual needs. You will also conduct re-evaluations to monitor progress and facilitate timely discharges, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with both patients and the healthcare team to communicate treatment goals and progress effectively. This position allows you to showcase your expertise in custom bracing and orthotics while enhancing the lives of those seeking recovery through specialized OT and hand therapy techniques. Requirements
- graduate of an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy program
- specialty certification in Hand Therapy or looking to obtain one
- national registration and Montana state licensure
- minimum of one year of clinical experience as a practicing hand or occupational therapist
- current BLS or ACLS certifications
- strong knowledge of managing patients with hand injuries and disorders
- excellent skills in orthotic fabrication
- advanced orthopedic skills and effective communication
- Upholding strong ethical and moral character
- familiarity with relevant clinic policies and regulations
