About The Position

Join our team and grow with us both professionally and personally! Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) position. This is an in-house program within a welcoming, slower-paced community environment that delivers holistic care with a strong focus on prevention. The role offers a salary with 75% productivity benchmarks and no mandated group treatment. Specialized on-site training is delivered during paid work hours, with some sessions eligible for CEUs. The company provides state-of-the-art rehab gyms and equipment. There is an opportunity to build relationships by following residents across the full continuum of care, including inpatient, home health, outpatient, and fitness services. Clinically driven, patient-centered treatment decisions guide all programs and care plans. The leadership philosophy is positive, giving our therapists opportunities to provide input into programming, systems, and creative idea sharing. Due to our company being a non-profit organization, student loan forgiveness is available after 10 years! In this role, you will be responsible for providing treatment services to residents and assisting the Occupational Therapist in treatment and program development. You will perform occupational therapy procedures that have been delegated by the Occupational Therapist, in accordance with the plan of treatment. Requirements

  • Completion of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant Program
  • Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant license, or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered
  • Compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process

  • Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment
