Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health North Pinellas, which is a 160-bed facility and a small community hospital. All primarily geriatric population. Joint commission certified for joint hip and total knee program and holds a primary stroke certification. There are 5 total floors to the hospital including 1 critical care unit and 1 step down unit. This is an all-acute care hospital.
Requirements
- Graduate ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
