About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing home health therapy team. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver one-on-one patient care in the home setting, helping patients regain independence, improve mobility, and restore daily function after illness, injury, or surgery. Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments in home health settings under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility
- Assist in improving strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
- Deliver care focused on rehabilitation, recovery, and quality of life improvement
- Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
