OA --X: Occupational Therapist Assistant (--X) (HH & WK)
About The Position
Work Kare is the leader in occupational health for Northwest Louisiana. We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our Work Conditioning department. Duties of this position include assisting the Occupational Therapist (OT) in providing therapy to patients to help them improve, maintain, or regain skills from a work-related injury, implementing treatment plans, conducting therapeutic activities, documenting patient progress, and educating patients. The COTA will initiate therapeutic activities as directed by the supervising OT to assist injured workers, perform screenings and pre-employment assessments, maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment and report findings to the supervising OT. In addition, the COTA will prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas for sessions and assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Must be certified in the State of Louisiana
