Hospital/Clinic Address: 9330 US-301, Riverview, FL 33578 PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday
Requirements
- Graduate ACOTE approved occupational therapy assistant program
- Current or pending state licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
- Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals
- Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
