About The Position

Inpatient Rehab and Acute Care Support COTA: The support occupational therapist assistant assists the occupational therapist in providing direct patient care services. The assistant provides treatment to patients to enhance the physical and/or cognitive performance while adjusting to their disabilities as defined in the assistant’s scope of practice. The assistant documents according to departmental standards. The assistant is a positive contributor to disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams. They participate in professional development; supervision of students and volunteers as appropriate; and in orienting new employees.

Requirements

• Possess a valid license to practice Occupational Therapy issued by the State of Ohio.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• No prior job-related work experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of job related experience.
