About The Position

We are searching for a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join a busy Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Clinic. This is a full time position. This position offers access to supportive management, a dynamic, cooperative working environment with other OT, PT, and ST staff, and an excellent opportunity to positively impact the lives of kids and their families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current state license/certification
  • Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
  • Prefer minimum three to five (3-5) years experience in pediatric rehabilitation
  • Experience with feeding and sensory integration therapies
  • Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in Pediatric Occupational Therapy
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Help children gain independence
  • Promote development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, and visual motor skills
  • Focus on developmental skills including feeding, handwriting, and object manipulation
  • Coordinate and work on a multidiscipline team as well as with family members
  • Work 2-3 early evenings a week
