About The Position

The Occupational Medicine Specialist provides clinical support for employer-focused healthcare, managing work-related injuries, conducting exams, and promoting workplace health initiatives. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliant care, operational efficiency, and improved health outcomes. The Occupational Medicine Specialist serves as a clinical support role, supporting the delivery of high-quality, employer-focused healthcare services. This role is responsible for managing work-related injuries, conducting regulatory and pre-employment exams, and guiding workplace health initiatives that improve outcomes and reduce risk. By partnering with internal teams and external employers, the specialist ensures consistent, compliant care while driving growth and operational excellence across occupational medicine programs. Ability to communicate effectively with a culturally diverse population: i.e. substance abuse testers, physicians, employer clients, and Worker Compensation case managers. Demonstrates high level of initiative. Able to work independently.

Requirements

  • DOT drug screen collector ((required within 6 months of employment)
  • BAT ((required within 6 months of employment)
  • CAOHC audiometry certification (required within 6 months of employment)
  • NIOSH Spirometry certification (required within 6 months of employment)
  • HS - High School Grad or Equivalent
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or EMT Basic Certification Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days from hire
  • Healthcare Experience 1 year Required
