About The Position

Occupational Medicine Locums Opportunity in Virginia. This position offers a high earning potential with fast credentialing and no call required. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to start as soon as credentialed, which typically takes about 2 weeks from acceptance. There are no nights, weekends, or holidays involved in this role.

Requirements

• Board Certification / Eligibility highly preferred.
• Occupational Medicine experience required.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction.
• DOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient cases for all ages, seeing 25-35 patients per day.
• Handle work-related injuries and perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for various private companies and governmental agencies.
• Conduct procedures such as suturing, lacerations, derma bonds, in-grown toenail removal, injections, drug screen collections, and DOT physicals and screenings.
