Under supervision, the OMCA collects medical history information, conducts initial assessments of work-related injuries, prepares patients for evaluation, fits and dispenses durable medical equipment, administers pre-employment drug screens, and initiates DOT and pre-placement examinations using established criteria. The OMCA supports Occupational Medicine providers by maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating follow-up care, and assisting with required documentation. This role also communicates effectively with patients and employers to provide timely information and ensure continuity of care, and participates in on-site specimen collection services at employer locations or within clinic settings. This is a full-time position based at our Coon Rapids MOH Campus. Monday - Friday schedule of 7:30am - 4:00pm (subject to change). This role may also require flexibility to pick up shifts at any/all of our MOH Campuses as needed.
