About The Position

Occupational Health Paramedic (Full-Time) Location: South Bend, Indiana Looking for predictable hours, steady pay, and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license—without the chaos of 911 response? We’re hiring an experienced Paramedic to deliver on-site occupational health services at a large-scale construction project. This role offers a unique shift from reactive emergency care to proactive injury prevention, workforce health, and safety collaboration—all within a structured, full-time schedule. As the on-site medical professional, you’ll operate from a dedicated clinic and serve as the primary resource for worker health and safety. You’ll work independently while partnering closely with site leadership to maintain a safe and productive work environment. This is not a traditional ambulance role. Instead, you’ll build relationships, provide ongoing care, and help prevent injuries before they happen.

Requirements

• Current State Paramedic License
• Willingness to obtain within 90 days – company provided OSHA-30 certification
• 1-2+ years of experience as a licensed healthcare provider
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in emergency, industrial, or occupational health settings (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses
• Provide first aid and emergency medical response as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and OSHA documentation
• Perform occupational health testing
• Monitor worker health and provide follow-up care
• Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes
• Collaborate with safety teams to promote a culture of prevention
• Coordinate with local EMS when higher-level care is required
