Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Minnesota.
• Two years of experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in a Manufacturing/Production environment providing direct delivery of nursing services to workers.
• Certification(s) or willingness to obtain: Council for Accreditation Occupational Hearing Conservation, NIOSH Spirometry training, American Board of Occupational Health (COHN, COHN-S and/or Case Management), Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for injury and illness and refer to community healthcare providers as necessary.
• Lead case and care management planning for occupational and non-occupational illness and injury.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate required medical surveillance and fitness for duty programs according to protocols.
• Lead health and well-being initiatives at the site, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs.
• Document worker medical encounters in appropriate systems while maintaining medical confidentiality.
