As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by providing direct care for injury and illness and/or referring to community healthcare provider as necessary. You will lead case and care management planning for occupational and non-occupational illness and injury, collaborating with vendor(s) or appropriate parties to determine return to work/disability management plan. Additionally, you will plan, implement, and evaluate required or recommended medical surveillance and fitness for duty programs according to protocols and ensure appropriate follow-up of results. You will also lead health and well-being initiatives at the site, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs for the plant population, including appropriate immunizations. Documenting worker medical encounters in appropriate systems while maintaining proper documentation and preserving medical confidentiality according to 3M and medical practice standards is also a key responsibility.
