Must be able to physically maneuver around machinery, between plants, manage supplies, respond in a timely manner to situations, and communicate with all personnel.

Nice To Haves

CAOHC, DOT BAT, and DOT Urine certification preferred.
Medical Assistant Certification Training and/or 3-5 year's healthcare experience in the industrial setting preferred.
Current CPR certification preferred.

Interface effectively with the external medical community.

Responsibilities

Perform various tasks under the direction of the Occupational Health Manager.
Triage employee medical events; assessment, implement medical protocol for care, provide care instructions, and follow up.
Performing screenings, such as audiometry testing for management of hearing conservation program.
Organize and maintain Occupational Health Records, sharing responsibilities for a variety of tasks
Assist with Injury Management Clinic.
Answer calls and provide pertinent information.
Relay instructions to employees.
Sending/receiving/scanning employee medical records.
Manage and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Organize and coordinate First Responder Training including Bloodborne Pathogens, Medical Waste & CPR/AED.
Maintaining employee certification & records in Learning Management System, Spark, MICR and other Medical Records databases as assigned.
Assist in the training of new employees within the scope of job duties.
Order medical supplies & stocking all first aid rooms and emergency first responder bags.
Coordinate Occupational Health programs and providing services for Vision, Flu Clinic, and Hearing Conservation, Respirator Fit Testing, and Drug Testing.
Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state and local laws and regulations by maintaining the confidentiality and security of employee health information, handling all medical documentation and records in compliance with privacy standards, and safeguarding sensitive data throughout the leave management process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
