Under general supervision and following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, delivers nursing care to patients. The Occupational Health and Wellness RN will manage work-related injuries and illnesses in various environments such as industrial and manufacturing. Provides first aid, nursing assessments, occupational health screenings and testing, and maintains medical records to meet client needs. Develops specialized and unique health and wellness programs that include education, awareness and screening to deploy to corporate settings to provide services which can include such things as education on health, wellness physicals, wellness screenings and immunizations. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement. Essential Functions: Administer clinical care in an occupational health setting. Treat work related injuries in accordance with standing orders set by occupational health physicians. Conduct employee health assessments and review medical history. Consult with patients on personal illnesses for disease prevention and educate them to promote a healthy lifestyle. Act as a liaison between employees, clients and TGH leadership. Administer medication and immunizations. Maintain health records and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with leadership to mitigate workplace risk and exposures. Provide recommendations for programs in support for healthy and safe workplace. Partner with client to complete workers' compensation claims. Develop and deliver wellness programs to OneTGH clients. Lead and present certification training. Conduct screenings and deliver health education to corporate clients. Process client documentation and claims in EMR. Travel to multiple site locations required
