About The Position

The Occupancy Planner will support workplace strategies on various projects and assignments. You will be part of a planning team that solves occupancy and space issues within the framework of the workplace program guidelines and metrics. You will interact with our client's internal CRE (Corporate Real Estate) team and Line of Business partners. You will also work as part of a diverse and integrated team delivering a modern workplace including space and occupancy planning, move planning, and project management. We'll expect you to work independently and manage your time to meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of occupancy utilization, workplace strategy, office design principles, and trends.
  • Great relationship-building skills and a client experience focus.
  • Responsiveness and initiative to ensure project commitments and goals are accomplished on time.
  • Highly organized with strong skills in managing client information, project details, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge in utilization data analysis; gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Familiar with desk-sharing concepts and methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in CAFM/IWMS database and graphic tools.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in corporate real estate.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with end user customers to understand their business needs and promote workplace solutions.
  • Answer questions about the workplace program, space and occupancy, allocations, and utilization for assigned buildings or business units.
  • Manage space requests and move work orders to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop space solutions including stacking plans, block plans, allocation plans, and adjacency diagrams.
  • Aggregate data from multiple sources to provide options for client decision-making.
  • Work on projects spanning co-location, scenario planning, modern workplace transformation, space densification, and restacking.
  • Develop block plans to convey future use of space and/or layouts using graphic tools.
  • Report on workplace utilization, building data, organizational data, and occupancy metrics.
  • Manage allocations and data accuracy using a CAFM/IWMS database.
  • Perform physical space audits/walkthroughs as required.
