About The Position

The primary function of this role will be to advance the college's mission through on-campus events. The ideal candidate must be experienced in customer service, assisting with event planning, team building, and project management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of previous experience in customer service and/or office environments
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and Google Drive programs (i.e, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Forms, etc.)
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work through interruptions
  • Collaborative team spirit
  • Positive and optimistic approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent customer service skills in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Genuine desire to deal effectively and cooperatively with coworkers and the public

Responsibilities

  • Managing registration for all on-campus events
  • Communicating with guests about event details and assisting with check-in
  • Tracking and reporting event registration income and merchandise sales from on-campus events
  • Coordinating event logistics with the Events Team
  • Assisting the Director in training student workers for the registration system
  • Maintaining registration data for dashboard performance indicators
  • Performing other duties as assigned
