About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an OB Tech to join our LDRP team in women's services. This is a Part Time-night shift position in Charlottesville, VA. The position requires 24 hours per week, consisting of 2 twelve-hour shifts, with every 3rd weekend rotation. Candidates with Operating room experience will receive training for OB, which can take between 8 and 12 weeks. The LDRP unit offers post-operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs, and the team is dedicated to providing best-in-class healthcare.

Requirements

• Experience in an Operating room setting preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Willingness to undergo training for OB procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in women's health services.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of care to patients in the LDRP unit.
• Support the nursing staff in providing care to mothers and newborns.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Self-schedule on-call shifts and be available within 30 minutes of the facility.
