About The Position
We are seeking a qualified Obstetrician & Gynecologist for a locum tenens position in Washington, MO. This role involves providing inpatient care with a focus on both low and high-risk pregnancies. The coverage period is from August 4, 2025, to November 2025, with specific shifts needed on August 4 and 7. The position requires call coverage only, with a call schedule that includes weeknights and weekends. The call type is beeper, with a response time of 30 minutes and a call ratio of 1:4. The average patient volume is between 3-5, with admissions ranging from 0-2 and an annual delivery average of 750. The department is well-supported with 1 Nurse Practitioner and 16 staff members, including Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Patient Service Representatives. The facility has 16 beds, including 8 LDRP and 8 couplet/GYN beds, and operates at trauma levels II and III. The EMR system used is Epic. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered for the duration of the assignment.
