About The Position

The OB/GYN provides obstetric and gynecological care to the patients of Saint Anthony Hospital and participates in initiatives as necessary to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Hospital and practice are met. The role includes providing evaluation and treatment, obstetric and gynecological consultation, and responding to obstetrical and gynecologic calls or consults. The OB/GYN will also provide evaluation, treatment, admission, and ongoing inpatient management services to patients of private physicians with obstetric or emergent surgical gynecologic needs, upon request and subject to availability.

Requirements

• Must have permanent, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois.
• Must remain board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Must demonstrate a history of cooperative relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based providers including nurse midwives, administrators and patients.
• Must have excellent communications skills.
