About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a full service BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician to join our growing practice in Danville, Illinois. Join an established, multi-specialty practice that includes one other OB/GYN physician and 1 FT Advanced Practice Provider. The practice includes 13 BC/BE OB/GYNs, 6 OB Hospitalists, 12 Midwives, and 8 Advanced Practice Providers. You will have the ability to make referrals to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, which is approximately 30 minutes away. Carle Foundation Hospital is a 489-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal Services, 48 NICU beds, and has 24/7 in-house Neonatology and Maternal Fetal Medicine coverage. Other on-site Women's Health sub-specialties available at Carle Foundation Hospital include Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, and Gynecologic Oncology. There is also an opportunity to consult with Pediatric Sub-specialists within the Carle Health system. Additionally, there is an opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering. The catchment area is 138,000, and Danville is home to over 30,000 residents, located 1 hour from Indianapolis and 2 hours from Chicago.
