About The Position
Medical Group is a 650+ provider multispecialty group seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible obstetrician/gynecologist (Ob-Gyn) committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. The position involves a traditional workweek plus call and hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends. The minimum requirement is 32 patient contact hours per week, plus rounding and call. The on-call schedule is shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs at a ratio of 1/6, with an average of 20-25 patients per day. The opportunity is ideal for an OB-GYN seeking a rural-style practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice. The clinic is located in a new medical office building on the campus of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, a 100-bed community hospital. The Ontario, OR location features a 10-bed LDRP Unit with a 2-bed newborn nursery and accommodates over 400 annual deliveries. The facility is the only one in Malheur, Payette, Fruitland, Adams, and Washington Counties providing care by OB/GYN providers for infants over 36 weeks. The CGANICU team follows a family-centered approach with outcomes exceeding national benchmarks. The desired start date is ASAP, and the practice setting includes rounds and clinic work. The documentation system used is EPIC with Dax.
