About The Position

Observation Partners sit with and/or accompany patients continuously to assure safety and well being of the patient. This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, on an evening shift.

Requirements

• Committed to work availability of 48 hours per month, 12 hours of which is on Saturday or Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ambulation needs which with may require the use of a gait belt.
• Assist patients with meals/feeding needs.
• Committed to work availability of 48 hours per month, 12 hours of which is on Saturday or Sunday.
• Documents basic patient observations.
• Notifies appropriate patient care provider of the need for patient assistance.
• Performs walking rounds continuously to assure safety and well-being of patients.
• Sits with and/or accompanies patient continuously to assure safety and well-being.
