About The Position
Observation Partners sit with and/or accompany patients continuously to assure safety and well-being of the patient. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with ambulation needs which with may require the use of a gait belt.
- Assist patients with meals/feeding needs.
- Committed to work availability of 48 hours per month, 12 hours of which is on Saturday or Sunday.
- Documents basic patient observations.
- Notifies appropriate patient care provider of the need for patient assistance.
- Performs walking rounds continuously to assure safety and well-being of patients.
- Sits with and/or accompanies patient continuously to assure safety and well-being.
