As an Observability Advisor at Splunk, you will play a crucial role in engaging and influencing both prospects and existing customers to enhance their use of our portfolio, improve deal sizes, and expand our customer base through innovative solutions and value-driven expansion. This strategic position requires a deep understanding of the Observability landscape and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including sales teams and executive leadership. You will partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to develop tailored account and sales plans that focus on increasing the adoption of our Observability products and capabilities. In this role, you will also collaborate with Worldwide Observability Strategists to identify and promote repeatable problem-solving solutions, driving the go-to-market (GTM) strategy. Your expertise will be essential in mentoring sales teams on how to engage in impactful conversations with key personas, ensuring they can develop comprehensive solutions that encompass software, services, and appropriate pricing strategies. You will lead Observability Sales Activities, assisting sellers in qualifying, defining, and validating our ITOps/Observability Solutions for strategic opportunities. Additionally, you will keep theater sales leadership informed about GTM account execution progress, competitive insights, and developments within the partner ecosystem. Your thought leadership will be showcased through online publications and speaking engagements at customer and partner events. You will also be responsible for fostering customer community development opportunities, such as user group meetings and executive roundtable discussions, while educating teams on GTM campaigns and target personas. Understanding the competitive landscape within accounts will be vital, as you will work with account teams and strategists to develop effective positioning tactics.
