About The Position

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Service of alcoholic beverages while maintaining legal age requirements Provide prompt and professional beverage service Prepare alcoholic beverages for the Cabana and VIP Service staff Assist in providing food and beverage service to Cabana and VIP guests Have awareness of all current promotional offers Excellent cash handling skills making transactions fast, friendly, and fun Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards, and vouchers Proper handling, storage, and organization of receipts and credit cards Follow opening & closing procedures to maintain cleanliness standards Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high-volume environment Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines Stock and rotate product up to par and rotation of product Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark Follow Park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications Applicants must be at least 21 years old Minimum 2 years high volume bartending experience preferred Must provide excellent customer service Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling Ability to count money and make change efficiently Ability to accept guidance, constructive criticism and supervision Ability communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work open to close Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Physical Demands Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 60 pounds individually and more than 60 pounds as part of a team lift We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
