About The Position

As an OBGYN Sonographer, you will join a team that is dedicated to providing patient-first healthcare. This position is located at Hillcrest Hospital within the OB/GYN Institute's ultrasound department. In this role, you will utilize imaging devices that emit sound waves to create images that assist physicians in assessing and diagnosing various conditions. You will perform high-quality ultrasound exams according to the AIUM guidelines, including obstetric ultrasounds for high-risk patients and gynecologic exams. Your responsibilities will include accurately completing reports, communicating findings, assisting physicians with procedures, and teaching and training sonographers, students, fellows, and residents. You will also be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and safety, monitoring ultrasound appointment schedules, and completing end-of-day transmissions of images. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining knowledge in the field and completing required competencies within the first six months of hire. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and requires a graduate of an accredited school in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, along with RDMS certification and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include one year of OBGYN women's health ultrasound experience or three years of ultrasound experience.
