About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, high volume, well-respected OB/GYN Hospitalist program, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network to include coverage of L&D, OB/GYN ED and Gyn surgery providing care to a diverse patient population. The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks. Recent expansions at our hospital in Midtown include a new ICU and surgical tower, and the Women’s Hospital Pavilion which opened in 2023. Requirements

  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
  • OB and GYN privileges are required

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage on L&D/HROB/PP and Gyn providing care in the OBGyn ED and for unassigned Gyn inpatients/emergency surgeries
  • Supervise Residents and work with NPs and CNMs
  • Care for a diverse patient population
