OB Surgical Technician- Full Time, WOW, Nights Status: Full Time Shift: Third Weekend Only Program, Plus One Shift During the Week Job Summary: The OB Surgical Technician, under the direction and supervision of an RN or MD performs activities concerned with preparation, assistance, and clean up for vaginal deliveries and surgical procedures in Labor and Delivery. Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 90 days.
- 1 year of relevant experience required.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of operative procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizes principles of aseptic technique.
- Performs secretarial duties as necessary and assists in cleaning and stocking.
- Assists RNs in direct patient care.
