OB Sonographer 3 - USFTGP OBGYN
About The Position
The OB Sonographer 3 will perform high-risk OB/GYN imaging exams/procedures under the direction of Maternal Fetal Medicine and GYN Imaging physicians, following established protocols. Responsible for obtaining and correlating clinical history with indicated exam/procedure. Must be able to use the independent judgement necessary to obtain all required information, images & measurements. Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fetal/gynecological anatomy & physiology, and technical sonographic principles. Must deliver patient care in accordance with USFTGP mission, vision, and values. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of a formal accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS registry in OB/GYN.
- Current BLS certification required.

- Minimum of 3 years of OB/GYN sonography experience required.
- Must demonstrate current knowledge and level of expertise generally obtained through national certification required to perform high-risk OB/GYN sonograms.

- Performs 2D/3D GYN sonograms
- Performs Hysterosalpingo-Contrast-Sonogram
- Performs Saline Infusion Sonohysterography
- Provides Ultrasound guidance for various GYN procedures
- Performs Early pregnancy viability sonograms
- Performs Fetal growth sonograms
- Performs Nuchal Translucency evaluation
- Performs Biophysical Profile
- Performs Fetal Anatomy and Level II sonograms
- Performs Fetal Doppler studies
- Performs Fetal Echocardiography
- Provides Ultrasound guidance for Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villous Sampling procedures
